The 2017-18 Budget, including related papers such as the Portfolio Additional Estimates Statements (PAES) and Portfolio Supplementary Additional Estimates Statements (PSAES), is officially available at http://www.budget.gov.au.
The PSAES inform Parliament of changes to the proposed allocation of resources since the 2017-18 Additional Estimates. The PSAES, annual Appropriation Bills (Nos. 5 and 6) and / or additional Parliamentary Bills are tabled in Parliament on the second Tuesday in May each year.
The annual Appropriation Bills (Nos. 5 and 6) require that the Portfolio Budget Statements, PAES and PSAES be taken into account when interpreting the appropriated items in the Schedules. Please note that not all portfolios prepare a PSAES. Only those entities that are seeking additional funding for through Appropriation Bills (Nos. 5 and 6) and / or through additional Parliament Bills are required to produce a PSAES. The PSAES incorporate measures announced since the 2017-18 Additional Estimates, including those announced in the Mid-Year Economic and Fiscal Outlook (MYEFO).
The agency tables have been provided to assist those who wish to analyse 2017-18 PSAES. Footnotes have also been included as published in the files to assist in interpreting the data.
